Modify Existing Facility to Meet Company’s Needs
Due to employee parking constraints, Vectren Energy Systems turned to Americas Engineers, Inc. to find a solution to this problem. AEI provided Vectren with a functional and feasible 77-vehicle lot design, which would, not only meets their demands, but also be environmentally conscious. This lot design incorporated the use of porous pavement and a subsurface drainage system to assist the City of Evansville with their storm water management needs. Additionally, AEI designed and provided layout for security and safety measures for Vectren, including a camera system and site lighting: all to promote employee well-being.
AEI provided the following professional services:

After designing the project, AEI assisted Vectren with Project Management, whereby provided services included:
- Pre-bid meetings
- Addendum Q & A
- Post bid analysis and recommendations
- Construction documentation and coordination
- RFI and submittal reviews
- Pay application submittals and reviews
