Design/Build Solution for Tightly Scheduled Projects

Americas Engineers, Inc. solely managed a design/build project for a self-standing office facility inside the existing Toyota Motor Manufacturing Plant.  The client allowed minimal time for the project; including pre-construction activities, design, and construction in this tightly scheduled project.
Some of the unique challenges for this project included relocating the existing fire protection system, and relocating an overhead door to the body weld shop without interfering with the 24/7 operations of the plant.  Special considerations were taken into effect when designing the strict HVAC system requirements, including a complete glass wall on the east side of the new office facility.
Americas Engineers, Inc. completed all work as scheduled utilizing eight sub-contractors to fulfill to construction requirements.
